Juice drink brand Cherry Good is being re-launched with a brand new look after being bought by Refresco Gerber earlier this year.
Originally launched in 2009, Cherry Good underwent a radical redesign in 2013 under previous ownership. However, following feedback from Cherry Good’s loyal customers, Refresco Gerber has decided to redesign the brand packaging, opting for a simpler look which will have strong on-shelf presence.
Christine Fox, marketing manager at Refresco Gerber said: “We have a loyal customer base who are always telling us why they love Cherry Good. However, we started to receive frequent reports that they were having trouble finding Cherry Good in store. They felt the old design was difficult to read, had poor shelf stand out and was hard to differentiate from other drink brands in white minimalistic packaging. We have spent considerable time investigating these problems to make our new packaging easily identifiable by our customers.”
Each variety has been renamed to give greater clarity with the full range now known as Cherry Good, Cherry Good Light and Cherry Good to Go (all ambient aisle) along with Cherry Good Select in the chilled aisle.
Christine continued: “In addition to the rebrand, we have also instigated a strong promotional plan with our grocery partners to ensure that brand awareness and trial of Cherry Good continues to grow.”
The new look packaging will be available in supermarkets across the UK from June2014 and will be supported by a new website, promotional plan, PR and social media engagement activity.
